Privacy
Updated October 13, 2026
You never need an account. Without one, saved places, found items and settings stay in your browser and never reach us.
If you sign in
We store:
- your email address, and your name and profile picture URL if you use Google;
- your Google account id, so Google sign-in finds your account;
- the places you saved or marked found, with when you did it, so they sync between devices;
- whether you asked for launch alerts, when, and from where on the site (your proof of consent);
- your sessions (a random token, when it expires, your IP address and browser), so you stay signed in;
- a log of emails we sent you (sign-in links, launch alert), for delivery problems.
We don't sell this, don't use it for ads and never put your email into analytics.
Emails
We email you only when you ask: a sign-in link, or launch alerts if you turned them on. Signing in doesn't sign you up. Every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can turn alerts off on your account page.
Cookies
Signing in sets a session cookie and a small "signed in" hint cookie. Both are strictly necessary to keep you signed in, so there's no consent banner. Nothing is set until you sign in.
Download or delete
On your account page you can download everything we hold about you as JSON, or delete your account. Deleting removes your account, sessions, alert signup and synced progress right away.
Who processes it
The site and its database run on Cloudflare, which also sends our emails. Google handles Google sign-in. Spam protection on email forms uses Cloudflare Turnstile.
