GTA 6 activities
Updated · 3 min read
GTA 6 has more side activities than any GTA before it, and Rockstar has already shown over 20. Racing, car meets, fishing, hunting, scuba diving, base jumping, the gym, a gun range, basketball, pool, golf, mini golf (new to the series), a zoo and more, plus crimes like store robberies and bank jobs. Below is every activity from the trailers, the August 2026 Extended Look and Rockstar's interviews, with where it takes place on the map. We'll pin the exact spots when the game launches on November 19, 2026.

Where are the races in GTA 6?
The biggest race venue on our map is the Gellhorn International Raceway in Port Gellhorn, a road course mappers match to Sebring. There's also Ambrosia Raceway Park in Ambrosia and the Boone Speedway near Vice City. Mud-park fans should look at the Thrillbilly Mud Club in Mount Kalaga. See all of them under races.
Where can you fish and hunt?
Rockstar says Mount Kalaga "offers prime hunting, fishing, and off-road trails", with deer and mountain lions to hunt. Game Informer adds bass fishing, and the Ultimate Edition's Shitzu Squalo boat is described as being for fishing in Gambit Bay. See GTA 6 fishing for the best spots.
Where can you scuba dive in GTA 6?
In the Leonida Keys. Rockstar's material mentions scuba diving among giant turtles there, and the Extended Look shows Jason snorkelling in deep water. Mappers have placed an underwater research station off the Keys and underwater ruins near Vice City, both good bets for dive sites.
Is there golf in GTA 6?
Yes, both golf and mini golf. Mini golf is new to the series. The obvious golf course on the map is Leaf Links Golf Club in Vice City, matched to Indian Creek Country Club. Where the mini-golf course is hasn't been shown.
Is there a zoo in GTA 6?
Yes. The Extended Look shows a zoo you can visit and learn about the animals. Rockstar hasn't named it or shown where it is. With more than 170 species in the game, it fits; see GTA 6 animals. The Vice City Oceanarium, matched to the Miami Seaquarium, is a separate attraction.
Where is the gym and the shooting range?
Both appear in the Extended Look: Lucia lifts weights at a gym that needs a membership and shoots timed targets at a range. Neither is placed yet. An Ammu-Nation is the usual home of a range in GTA; two are already pinned: Phil's Ammu-Nation and Ammu-Nation.
Can you play basketball?
Yes, at Jason's House. The Extended Look shows him shooting hoops outside, and the August 2026 leak showed it raising a "Focus" stat.
What crimes can you do?
Store robberies (shopkeepers can shoot back), bank jobs, car theft with a mini-game, and selling stolen cars through the WAiNK app. The police now go up to six stars and recognise you by your clothes, so changing outfits matters. Rockstar has also shown the Ultimate Edition's PTT Youngin$ gang compound raid.
