GTA 6 Collector's Edition
Updated · 2 min read
GTA 6's collector's edition is "The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection": a $399.99 box of merchandise sold only on the Rockstar Store. It ships on November 19, 2026, is limited to one per customer, and does not include the game. You buy GTA 6 separately (from $79.99). The headline item for map fans is a double-sided poster with a full map of Leonida, which you can compare with our live map today.
Updated Oct 15, 2026: first version.
What's in the GTA 6 collector's edition?
Eleven items, as listed by Rockstar:
- A 6″ Macca the Gator figure with a stash compartment
- Matte black GTAVI Oakley Frogskins sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses
- A New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback with Vice City Leonida embellishments
- A Macca the Gator magnetic mirror
- A Vice City swizzle spoon
- A Vice City razor blade keychain
- A Leonida Keys crossbody bag
- A Chunkee the Manatee shot glass
- A Leonida Keys enamel pin set in a metal tin
- Premium stickers in a stash bag
- A double-sided souvenir poster with the Leonida map on one side
There's no disc slot and no game code in the box.
Does the collector's edition include the game?
No. Rockstar states it clearly, and it's the main complaint in the coverage. GTA 6 itself is sold as:
- Standard Edition, $79.99
- Ultimate Edition, $99.99, with extra vehicles, shops and outfits: see GTA 6 Ultimate Edition
Neither is a disc. The boxed versions contain a download code.
How much is it and where can you buy it?
$399.99 in the US, from the Rockstar Store only, after signing in. Pre-orders opened on September 24, 2026. Other retailers don't sell it. A late-September check found the US listing still live; pre-orders for Asia, Latin America and Australia hadn't opened. Rockstar describes it as available "while supplies last" and hasn't mentioned a restock.
What does the map poster show?
A cartoon-style map of the whole state, with Macca the Gator art on the reverse. Rockstar's first product photo showed place labels. Reddit users read "Sandbars", "Crude Islands" and what may be "Draper Island" before Rockstar swapped in a version with the labels removed. Those names already appear on our map: the Sandbars off the Gulf coast and the Crude Islands near Port Gellhorn.
The poster's islands don't quite match fan maps, so treat it as art rather than a survey. Our official map guide covers what Rockstar has and hasn't shown.
Who are Macca the Gator and Chunkee the Manatee?
Leonida's mascots in Rockstar's merchandise. Macca nods to the gators of Grassrivers; Chunkee to the manatees fans spotted in the Leonida Keys in Trailer 1. The Ultimate Edition's "Goodtime Gear" outfits are also inspired by Macca. More on the animals in GTA 6 wildlife.
Is it worth it?
That depends on what you want. If you want in-game extras, the $99.99 Ultimate Edition adds a car, shops like Rideout Customs and Electric Fang Tattoo, and a garage in Watson Bay. The collector's box is purely physical merchandise for fans of Vice City and the Keys.
