Is Tampa in GTA 6?

Not as a city of its own. GTA 6's only big city is Vice City, its Miami. Rockstar hasn't announced a Tampa, Orlando or Jacksonville. Tampa Bay does turn up in pieces, though: mappers match Port Gellhorn's big bridge to the Sunshine Skyway and its container cranes to the Port of Tampa. The rest of Leonida is towns, swamps and countryside. Below, each Florida city fans ask about, checked against what Rockstar has shown and what's on our map.

Is Tampa in GTA 6?
No city called Tampa (or a renamed Tampa) has been announced. Rockstar lists six regions, and the only city among them is Vice City. But Port Gellhorn, on the Gulf coast, borrows from Tampa Bay according to community mappers:
Rockstar's own description of Port Gellhorn ("Leonida's forgotten coast") and press reporting point more to Panama City in the Panhandle, which Rockstar says it researched. So the Tampa answer is "bits of it, not the city".
Is Orlando in GTA 6?
No. Rockstar's environment team said Leonida may not have "those exact locations" people expect, naming Disney World and Universal. Mappers have matched a few things to the Orlando area, like the Evergreen Mall to the Orlando Vineland outlets and Ambrosia Station to Orlando's station, but there's no Orlando city and no theme-park resort. GTA 6 does have a zoo and mini golf, though; see GTA 6 activities.
Is Jacksonville in GTA 6?
Not by name. Jacksonville is one of the places Rockstar says it researched, along with Panama City, Ocala and small rural towns, so its look may be in the north of the map, around Mount Kalaga. There's no Jacksonville-sized city on any official or leaked map.
Is Key West in GTA 6?
In spirit, yes. The Leonida Keys are Rockstar's Florida Keys, with boat parties, dive bars like the Rusty Anchor, and Jason's house. Polygon pointed to Key West in Trailer 1. Mappers' matches run all along the chain, like the Key Lento sign for Key Largo.
Is Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers or the Space Coast in GTA 6?
- Fort Lauderdale: no city announced. The Vice City metro area takes the role of Miami-Dade, renamed Vice-Dale County.
- Fort Myers: no city announced. The closest thing is the wetland country of Grassrivers, Rockstar's Everglades.
- The Space Coast and Cape Canaveral: Rockstar named the Space Coast among places not to expect.

Could more cities come later?
Bloomberg reported in 2022 that Rockstar planned to expand the game after launch. That hasn't been confirmed, and no city has been named. Treat "Tampa DLC" claims as rumours.
